So, what’s the job?

As a Scientific Director, you will be working with our clients to challenge and shape the pharmaceutical strategies of the future.  You will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic communication plans, producing quality medical and scientific materials based on cutting edge science. You will review the work of others, whether in a coaching capacity or a more formal line management arrangement. In addition, you will be central to identifying new business opportunities and providing input into proposals and pitches.  Our full service healthcare communications offering and multichannel approach means that there is plenty of opportunity to work on a huge range of projects. Who is the ideal candidate?

In our Scientific Directors, we are looking for leaders, someone who is passionate about communicating highly scientific content in an accessible and educational setting.  You will have previous experience within Healthcare/Medical Communications including writing, developing and reviewing high quality scientific materials.  A large part of the role is relationship management, working closely with our clients as a partner. You will be confident in your decision making abilities and highly knowledgeable about Medical Communications. Ideally, you will have experience in line management, mentoring or coaching and be happy with some travel.  Teamwork and collaboration are key and enthusiasm and a commitment to quality are a must.
