Job Details: Ready to develop your career in the fast-growing virtual events space? AMICULUM is hiring an experienced project team lead to join our specialist virtual and hybrid events team! Leading a talented team of events project managers, you’ll play a key role in supporting the production of engaging assets and the facilitation of virtual meetings for pharmaceutical clients, patients and healthcare professionals.
The role
By joining AMICULUM’s friendly virtual events team as a project team lead, you’ll work together with other team leads to support our events project managers in the delivery of a high-quality and proactive service to our clients. You’ll co-lead the team, ensuring the smooth running of logistics and technical support across a range of virtual and hybrid events projects, including webinars, advisory board meetings and educational events.
Key responsibilities
- Managing the budgeting, scheduling, development and technical delivery of a variety of virtual events projects, including the recording and editing of on-demand assets
- Handling team scheduling and project assignment, ensuring relevant trackers and guides are kept up to date, as well as overseeing the management of various licences
- Providing relevant training, guidance, support and mentorship to team members located across the globe, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to manage the smooth running of multiple simultaneous events projects and the production of related outputs
- Maintaining positive and proactive communications with your team, other internal team leads and external customers and suppliers
- Leading high-profile and complex webinars alongside your team, as well as providing key technical insights to a range of internal stakeholders and clients
- Leading research and development into new and innovative platforms and software, as well as the subsequent implementation and communication of these to enhance event engagement and marketing
What you’ll need
- Demonstrable experience working with a fast-paced, detail-oriented team in a digital or event services environment, ideally within a wider organization
- Significant project management experience in virtual, hybrid and/or in-person events and multimedia projects, ideally within the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
- Experience and interest in team leadership, including line management or mentoring of junior colleagues
- Well-developed technical skills and experience with virtual event platforms, such as Zoom, WebEx and, ideally, streaming platforms such as Notified and StreamYard, as well as a strong understanding of video production processes
- The confidence to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders and external clients, experts and vendors Excellent organization, listening and communication skills, with the ability to explore client briefs carefully and identify underlying needs and requirements
