Trainee Medical Writers - Oxford - Caudex

Business Type: Medical Communications Agency
Job Type: Medical Writing and Editorial
Job Level: Entry Level
Position: Full Time
Location: South East
Reference: CDXLTD/TMW/1694
Background:

Caudex is part of McCann Complete Medical, a provider of class-leading medical communications services to the pharmaceutical industry. We value passion, integrity and innovation. As a company, we work on some of the most exciting healthcare products globally and provide a positive working environment for our staff. Our mission is to breathe life into science and turn evidence into real-life practice by translating evidence into credible, meaningful communications – trusted by our clients and their customers.

We are recruiting Trainee Medical Writers in our Oxford office to work on a variety of medical communications materials from print to online media, publications to international scientific meetings. There will be the possibility of working in another of our UK offices (including Macclesfield or London) following the successful completion of the training programme, however during the initial three months you will be required to be based in our Oxford office for approximately three days per week.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals with a life sciences qualification (PhD, or degree plus experience of communicating science) and a natural aptitude and passion for writing. The ideal candidates will have excellent communications skills, will be confident in liaising with colleagues and clients and able to travel. The successful candidates will be trained in medical writing and will enter our structured career development programme.

Medical communications is a highly rewarding career - we work on cutting-edge medicines that can really make a difference to patients’ lives by developing exciting and educational communications based on the scientific evidence.

Our highly skilled teams reflect our continuing commitment to being an employer of choice as well as a provider of choice. Ultimately, whoever you are, whatever difference you can make to our business, our aim is to provide you with a career, not just a job.
