The Role

In this Medical Editor role, you will be involved in the management of the editorial process and quality control, maintaining scientific rigour and accuracy within scientific services, and developing the editorial team.

  • Copy checking/editing content prior to client review
  • Review and management of studio liaison and outputs
  • Planning and managing project work across the scientific writing team
  • Manage internal and external databases for scientific services
  • Data/reference checking medical content
  • Veeva uploads, checking, and referencing
  • Management of client comments and approvals
  • Ensuring written content is consistent with company SOPs, client SOPs and relevant codes of compliance
  • Identifying needs and implementing new processes for the editorial team
  • Mentor and train team members and help develop their writing ability and editorial experience through coaching and experience building
  • In conjunction with the leadership team, responsible for the growth and structure of the editorial team
