Senior Account Executive (Biosciences), Central Manchester Location, Up to £28K

We have a chance to join a growing B2B communications agency in Central Manchester as a Senior Account Executive.

This agency work with a variety of global Life Sciences clients across branding, strategy, messaging and positioning across all channels such as media, PR, content, digital and events.
They have a solid scientific team with the majority of the agency made up of scientists who are enthusiastic about understanding their clients and their language. The rest of their ream is made up of marketers who are passionate about Healthcare and Medical Communications.

As a member of the Client Service Team, you will work with a key client, closely liaising to plan and deliver marketing campaigns and build a trusted client relationship. You will work with a strong team who have a focus on collaboration, including an account team, strategists, creatives and content writers. You will offer fresh and interesting ideas and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget throughout the entire project span.

You should have strong project management and client-facing skills and enjoy absorbing yourself into your client''s company and fully understanding the industry - including regular competitor and industry research - in order to meet their needs and create brilliant campaigns.

You''re confident editing and reviewing scientific content, reports and data and are passionate about marketing communications and staying on top of new trends.

The role:
- Support both the Senior Account Manager and Account Director on your account.
- Writing briefs, reviewing creative work and communicating with clients - making sure to add value throughout.
- Assist in client meetings.
- Monitor campaigns including the creation of regular reports.
- Conduct competitor and industry research.
- Immerse yourself into the client''s company. Understand their needs via understanding their industry, culture and competitors.
- Marketing automation planning.
- Assist with cost proposals and project estimates.
- Updating client presentations.
- Internal and external project management.
- Fulfill and exceed client expectations.

Required:
 - A biosciences degree
 - Ability to review and edit scientific content, analyse data and report on it.
- Attention to detail.
- Highly organised and comfortable working across a number of projects at once.
- First-class communications skills.

Advantageous:
- Knowledge of cell biology
- Understanding of website user experience
- Digital marketing and social media knowledge
- Expertise in analysis and reporting.
