We are looking for a junior-level project coordinator to join our dynamic project management team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Working across multiple accounts and project types, whilst ensuring both internal and external stakeholders are regularly updated on project progress, this entry level role offers exciting career development opportunities for the right candidate.

About the role

The Project Co-ordinator (PC) provides task-based support on key project management elements, assisting the project management team and wider project teams in meeting day-to-day tactical objectives, including project management, budget management, and timelines. With the direction of a senior team member, the PC is expected to support the financial and project management of assigned projects to ensure successful execution and outcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support on all aspects of assigned projects from a project management and financial perspective
  • Work alongside senior team members to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and regularly updated on project progress
  • Project timeline development and continuous management
  • Budget development and management
  • Regularly updating internal systems with project progress updates
  • Accurately raising and sending invoices
  • Effectively managing email traffic for projects
  • Providing financial updates/information when required

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Educated to degree or A-level as a minimum
  • 1 year+ administrative experience, achieved within a team-based and customer focused environment
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Keen interest in finance and demonstrable capability
  • Comfortable working under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Great Microsoft package skills; Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, professional and detail-oriented, with an enthusiastic desire to continuously learn, evolve and innovate
