inScience Communications are looking for a Medical InformationSpecialist for our King’s Cross office in London, supporting the inScience Communicationsteam. If you are seeking your next challenge, this is an excitingrole that will allow you to continue developing your career in MedicalInformation (MI).

 

You will be working with our pharma client to support the TherapyArea Managers with incoming MI enquiries, conducting literature searchesand writing detailed global response documents. You will have the opportunityto work with, and obtain further development from senior members of our MIteam.

Role and Responsibilities:

·        Completeproduct and therapy area training; become familiar with the SmPCs for theproduct(s) assigned to; keep up-to-date on therapy area and product knowledge.

·        Followclient instructions and processes for managing inquiries, and developing GlobalResponse Documents (GRD) within the required timelines.

·        Usingsystems to manage inquiries and all aspects of response documentdevelopment and approvals

·        Monitorinquiry inbox/system for inquiries escalated to the Global team; monitor emailinbox for inquiries to be handled as briefed by the client.

·        Undertakeappropriate literature searches (within PubMed; EMBASE; Google Scholar)

·        Define thescope of the literature search and identify appropriatekeywords accordingly to address the inquiry topic

·        Criticallyevaluate literature search results

·        Identifykey references of relevance to the inquiry; where applicable, criticallyevaluate additional references cited within these key references

·        Criticallyassess content of each reference to identify the key information and data ofrelevance to the inquiry

·        DraftGRDs de novo, update expired documents in line with the latest version ofthe Style Guide and GRD template

 

Qualifications and Experience:

·        Degree inlife science, pharmacy or proven equivalent experience

·        Experienceworking in Medical Information

·        Writingexperience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare/med comms setting

·        Ability tointerpret and analyse clinical/scientific data

·        Excellentverbal and written communication skills

·        Ability todemonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

·        A strongcommitment to providing high-level client service and delivering results

·        Goodworking knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Desirable: 

·        Experiencein women’s health

All employees are working remotely but you will berequired to be based in the office when the offices reopen, also in line withour working from home policy.
