Medical Communications Associate - Cambridge Medical Communication

Business Type: Medical Communications Agency
Job Type: Medical Writing and Editorial
Job Level: Entry Level
Position: Full Time
Location: East Anglia
Reference: MCA-Cambridge Medical
Background:

Are you looking to get started in the world of Medical Communications, but not sure where to begin? Do you want to gain experience across a range of project types before specialising in a specific role? If so, our Medical Communications Associate role could be perfect for you.

Our roles:

We are welcoming applicants for our Medical Communications Associate role. As well as writing and creating content for a range of projects, you will also gain experience of editing, researching, reference checking, and project management, allowing you to assess where your strengths lie and explore what you enjoy the most.

This role is specifically aimed at those looking to embark on a career in Medical Communications. You’ll gain experience from across our company, working with our medical writing team to create publications, presentations, training programmes, and market access materials, as well as being trained in our company’s editorial processes and project flow, giving you an insight into the business as a whole.

As you develop, you may wish to progress into a more specialist role within our team, such as Medical Writer or Editorial Project Manager.

About us:

We’re a small, creative and highly capable agency based near Cambridge, UK. We’ve been in the medical communications industry for 20 years, and we work on a broad range of project types – from medical affairs and market access to publications and presentations.

At Cambridge Medical Communication, you’ll benefit from:

  • working on a variety of disease areas and project types – giving you a fantastic start in the world of drug development, and allowing you to discover where your talents lie

  • individualised training – you’ll receive one-on-one tuition from our experienced team, so we can tailor your training to your precise needs

  • a friendly and collaborative atmosphere – where you can join a close-knit team of talented and like-minded individuals.

About you:

We are looking for creative, talented and highly motivated people to join our team. You will need to demonstrate a keen eye for detail, exceptional written English, the ability to pick up new concepts quickly, and the potential to communicate scientific information in a compelling and accurate way.

Applicants for the Medical Communications Associate role require a life sciences degree (2:1 or above) and must be able to demonstrate experience in communicating scientific information. A postgraduate qualification is advantageous but not necessary.

The Medical Communications Associate role is permanent and full-time, and is based in our offices in Willingham, Cambridge.
