For all freelancers, we recently had a new GMP Technical Writer role open up for a contract lasting from 1st November til the end of January working for a renowned pharmaceuticals company. There are on-site positions available with the hiring company in the Netherlands and remote positions are available in the UK and throughout Europe.

Job Role - GMP Technical Writer

  • Contract til the end of January with possibility of contract extending to April

The key focus of the role: You will be responsible a technology transfer project (move from US to Netherlands) - it will be challenging and complex - it will be more interesting for you and a good extra experience.

Key Requirements:

  • Biotechnology/Pharma Background
  • GMP Experience
  • ATMP is a plus
  • Bachelors Degree + 5 years experience in the Pharma/Biopharma industry
  • need to have experience writing the documentation for technology transfer


  • Work with limited guidance to manage the development of global procedural documents and, seek input as needed.
  • Exercise sound judgement, using a risk-based approach, to ensure compliance with procedural document regulations, practices, and policies.
  • Ability to identify, manage, and/or escalate issues and risks to timelines.
  • Collects and shares best practices through direct communications and communities of practice


  • Ok for part-time and also to have some home based days when they also need to go on site in The Netherlands.
  • You can test it out but also build new relationships with a new client - you will take no risks
