Associate Medical Information Specialist inScience Communications (part of Springer Healthcare) London Permanent Excellent salary and Benefits package
Role and Responsibilities: * Complete product and therapy area training; become familiar with the Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPCs) for the product(s) assigned to; keep up-to-date on therapy area and product knowledge. * Follow client instructions and processes for managing medical information (MI) inquiries, and developing Global Response Documents (GRD) within the required timelines. * Become familiar with the system used for managing MI inquiries, and all aspects of GRD development and approval. * Undertake literature searches in PubMed, EMBASE, and Google Scholar. * Proactively update expired GRDs in line with the latest version of the Style Guide and GRD template, with the aim to eventually develop new GRDs for responding to reactive enquiries. * Other duties, as may be reasonably required.
Qualifications and Experience: * Degree in life sciences or pharmacy.
Desired Skills: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Basic understanding/ability on how to interpret and analyze clinical/scientific data is desirable. * Flexible and proactive approach, combined with and ability to work as part of a team. * Sound time management and organizational skills. * A strong commitment to providing high-level client service and client satisfaction. * Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
