Owing to strong organic growth across our existing accounts, we are looking for agency-experienced Associate Scientific Project Leaders to join our talented team.

This is a hybrid role, and, as such, its core responsibilities are to provide project management support to account teams while also assisting in the development of high-quality and accurate scientific content that meets our clients’ needs. The focus of this hybrid role is centred around providing effective support across various client accounts (eg leading communications with external stakeholders and the team, adhering to compliance requirements and processes, tracking and driving projects, developing and monitoring budgets under guidance) and developing of scientific content for review by senior scientific team members. As an Associate Scientific Project Leader at Helios, you will typically support two different accounts and/or clients to ensure you have variety in therapy areas, project delivery and processes, thereby providing the opportunity for you to build a breadth of knowledge and experience in medical communications.

The Helios Associate Scientific Project Leader role – what we are looking for:
  • Life science / biological science degree is essential (minimum 2:1)
  • Higher degree is preferable (PhD or MSc)
  • Project management or administrative experience within an agency
  • (minimum 3 years’ experience) is essential
  • Medical writing agency experience (or copywriting / other relevant editorial experience) is desirable
  • Very good organisation
  • Very good team-working ability
  • Very good time management 
  • Very good editorial/writing ability and attention to detail
  • Very good problem-solving skills
  • Very good communication
  • Good leadership
