Take your account leadership capabilities to the next level at our specialist healthcare learning agency, Delta Kn. Dedicated to creating inspirational learning experiences for global healthcare audiences, you’ll delve into a range of projects from strategy planning and internal training to external education and engagement for a variety of audiences.
The role
Building and nurturing strong client relationships will be core to your role as an account director. You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of each client’s products, therapy areas and environment, ensuring that we provide the most relevant and effective ideas to meet their needs.
Key responsibilities
- Leading key accounts from conception to delivery, reviewing project deliverables for clarity, accuracy and alignment with project objectives while ensuring that they meet the agreed brief, scope and time frame
- Confidently managing all account financials, taking accountability of commercial management and ensuring that agreed workflows and best practices are followed throughout the project life cycle
- Leading organic growth opportunities with existing clients and supporting agency teams with new business requests for prospective clients
- Establishing collaborative partnerships across all internal teams, demonstrating the qualities of a line manager by mentoring team members across the business
- Proactively managing programme needs to ensure accurate resourcing across teams, preempting any additional support required to ensure the smooth operation of client accounts
What you’ll need
- Extensive experience working in client services at a healthcare communications, digital or creative agency
- A robust understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry and the support that our clients require
- Confident presentation skills and the ability to provide strategic support to our clients, leading business development in existing and new accounts
- An aptitude for building strong client relationships while supporting junior team members
- Strong organization and programme management competency, with an exceptional eye for detail
