Account Manager (Client Services)

We’re looking for Client Services Account Manager to provide comprehensive support across a number of key accounts that Springer Healthcare services. You’ll manage a wide portfolio of projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget, providing frequent and concise updates to all project stakeholders. This is a varied role where you will have the freedom to work autonomously, enabling you to manage and own projects across various medical communication activities. You’ll also join a fun and collaborative team that supports each other to achieve the best results for the client and Springer Healthcare.

 

Key aspects of the role involve:

  • Managing a portfolio of projects across key accounts ensuring that they deliver on schedule, within budget and to requirements
  • Financial management in line with project requirements
  • Building and sustaining long-term influential business relationships with client teams
  • Attending external meetings and events as required

 

Experience, qualifications and skills:

  • Client Services Account Management experience, or the role may suit someone that has Account Executive experience who wishes to progress to the next level
  • Previous pharmaceutical, medical communications or medical education industry experience
  • Proven experience of direct client contact
  • Education to at least graduate level, preferably in a scientific subject
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Adaptable and flexible approach, able to adapt and respond to change
  • Ability to make decisions, initiate actions and solve problems
  • Ability to collaborate and understand the value of teamwork
  • Valid driving licence and have own car (role is based in our office near to Chester where own transport is required)
