AMICULUM (www.amiculum.biz) is a leading independent global healthcare communications and consulting business, with teams based in New Zealand, China, Singapore, UAE, Switzerland, UK and the USA. It comprises an integrated cluster of branded agencies and specialisms, encompassing medical communications, healthcare learning, clinical and commercial consultancy, value communications, rare diseases, digital engagement and advocacy.


Our independent design team is continuing to grow, and we are now looking for an experienced designer to join our team in Bollington (Cheshire), Oxford, or Richmond (London). 


As part of our multi-disciplinary creative team, you would work on the development of scientific presentations, creative new business initiatives, rich-media interactive presentations and content for mobile platforms, as well as technically accurate figure redraws, layouts and illustrations.


Key responsibilities


  • Liaise with internal clients to advise on the creative direction of presentation design projects
  • Produce creative concepts and templates for e-learning and pitch presentations
  • Design e-learning and scientific platform user interfaces, navigation and icons
  • Format and incorporate content for e-learning modules
  • Produce complex PowerPoint presentations that include animations and hyperlinked content
  • Produce figure redraws for manuscripts and posters, as well as complex scientific illustrations 

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be proactive and personable, with a team-focused approach. You will be confident at working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Other requirements include:


  • A minimum of 2–3 years of design experience within medical communications agencies
  • A degree in graphic design or an equivalent subject
  • Strong technical knowledge, coupled with a creative flair for design and layout
  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates knowledge of graphical composition, typography, colour and layout
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Prezi and UX design
  • The highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail
