An exciting opportunity for a committed and driven Account Director has arisen in a stand-out international company specialised in medical communications training and events. The successful candidate will join a talented and forward-thinking team and will support them in developing core medical education programmes and enduring materials for global pharmaceutical clients.

Under the supervision of one of the business leaders, the Account Director has the responsibility to:

  • Oversee the management and delivery of standalone and integrated medical communication programmes and enduring materials in collaboration with the team
  • Work directly with the internal team for the planning, preparation and finalisation key client deliverables according to agreed budgets, scope and timelines
  • Liaise directly with international clients, partners and programme faculty, building successful professional relationships to support the programmes and aligned activities
  • Direct and manage specific account budgets, as well as managing external suppliers
  • Prepare for and oversee internal and client status meetings; ensuring accurate minutes and status reports are provided to the client in a timely fashion
  • Oversee project timelines
  • Ensure project scopes are kept within agreed parameters
  • Effectively contribute to internal planning discussions 
  • Contribute to business development of new and existing clients
  • Attend a range of programmes, managing key aspects of delivery
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally

This company is seeking a vibrant, forward thinking individual who is a highly organised self-starter with a focussed yet flexible approach. They must have the ability to work alone but also as part of an international team, with the willingness to learn and develop in the role. It is preferable you have experience working with colleagues and clients in a virtual environment.

To apply, you will have clear experience in a similar role preferably within a Medical Education/Healthcare agency setting and with a degree level education. You will have outstanding communication skills and excellent writing skills, with the ability to efficiently capture detail.
